Sweets to the Sweet

I have a wicked sweet tooth. You know how there are sweet people and then there are salty people? Well, put it this way. If I were on death row, my final meal would be a bucket of oreo ice cream with chocolate brownies and fudge mixed in as well. Death by chocolate. Oh and peanut butter. It doesn't get much better!

Well, since I'm trying to lose weight, I've had to put the brakes on my sweet tooth craving. I've found something amazing that works well during the day. Introducing...Guirardelli individual size chocolates!

OMG they are delicious. My personal favorite is shown to the left here - Dark and Mint. I keep a bag at all times in the refrigerator at work. (They are delicious cold!) If you aren't a minty person (I'm usually not but these are so good) they have lots of other flavors also. I'm a dark chocolate girl and they go SO well with a glass of pinot noir. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Only drawback is that they are tad expensive, so you have to look for$1.00 off coupons. I know some of you are saying "Why buy the individual packets when you can buy the whole bar for much less?" Well, good for you if you are one of those that can manage to break off a small bite every now and then and not eat the entire thing in one sitting. Really. I applaud you. But me? No can do.

Oh, and just wanted to mention. The only thing better than chocolate is Johnny Depp. Combine the two, and you've got the movie Chocolat. Get yourself a bag of Guirardelli's this weekend, and settle in with that movie and a glass of red wine. Now, that's what I'm talkin' bout!
