Dating and moving on

I went on a date last night with PA. Remember him? He's moved here permanently, and wanted to know if I wanted to go out for drinks/dinner. So I said yes, why not? I have been a little mopey and haven't gone out with anyone since the Cub and I broke up. I figured it would be good to get out there and try again. It went well, although not sure there is a love connection there. But he's a nice guy, so I enjoyed myself.

I found out the Cub is seeing someone now, and has been for several weeks. That stung a little, not going to lie. I knew it would happen eventually, but it just happened so...quickly. Men are like that though. They don't mope around that's for sure. Unfortunately, it has put a damper on our friendship somewhat. We haven't talked much since I found out, but that is to be expected. Life goes on. As Jimmy Buffet would say, "breathe in, breathe out, move on."

In unrelated news, I have been sucked into the world of vampires. I think one finally bit me, because I can't put the books down. I said I never would, but honestly I am seriously enjoying them! I bought a kindle recently, and I am in love with it. My life lately involves me with my nose buried into my er...kindle. PS Team Edward!

Happy Friday, luvahs.

The same thing happened to me on vacation this year! I brought the first book and had to go out and buy the rest and finished the whole series by the end of the week. I really did not think I would get sucked in so completely, but the books are good!

Life is constantly about moving on... even when its hard... but things always look up! :)

you're just NOW reading the Twilight books? Arent they fantastic!

you'll have to do a "review" on your Kindle... I drool over the idea of them all the time but scared to commit to a bound-less way of reading...

I am still resisting the books. All of my friends have read them and try to push them on me... holding out! But I do love me some Trueblood! Can't get enough Lafayette! Glad you are enjoying your kindle. I'm into audio books on my iPhone. Going thru the Girl w/a Dragon Tattoo series while I workout. Pretty good so far!

I completely understand.

Evs told me he's dating someone new now, followed it with "but I know you're dating so you'll find someone great!" I wanted to barf.

I have to remind myself every.day. to just keep moving forward. You won't be able to see anyone new if you're still blinded by the past. Right?? :-/
