I haven't put up my tree yet but I did put up some decorations. AFTER Thanksgiving was over of course. I made this wreath last year and it goes well in my foyer. I also picked up this pink glitter reindeer at Hobby Lobby this past weekend. He is pretty festive I'd say.
This is one of my favorite decorations that I also got at Hobby Lobby a few years ago.
Twilight haters please skip this next paragraph.
Twilight friends, did you see Breaking Dawn 2? I went to see it over the holiday break. It was amazing. If you haven't seen it yet (why not?) The twist in the movie had me almost coming out of my chair. The audience reaction is hilarious also. And I will admit at the end my eyes got a little glassy. I'm glad the series is over though so RPatz can move on to different things (such as this role - can't wait).
Also, since seeing the movie, I have been playing Christina Perri's A Thousand Years on repeat lately. Today I found this piano/cello version on YouTube. I LOVE the cello. My roommate in college played the cello and I just think it is a beautiful instrument. Enjoy:
I have a few other fun recipes to share with you in my next post: Mayonnaise Drop Biscuits & a really easy Cake Balls recipe. In regards to the biscuits, if you hate mayonnaise, don't make a face just yet. I promise you will like these. Did I mention there are only 3 ingredients? And hopefully I'll have my tree up.
I leave you with a picture of my brother. This is where I found him after we ate Thanksgiving lunch. He also claims to not be a cat person but...you decide.

Hope you all had a grand Thanksgiving! I am truly thankful for all of you that read this little nonsensical blog of mine.

Love your decorations! I'm a big fan of Hobby Lobby too but the two in this area are FAR from where we live.
Southerners don't usually have mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving? We ALWAYS did, and this year the holiday was much different for my family and the people we ate with didn't have them. I went home and made my own and ate them for dinner that night. Hrrmph, tater haters.
Did you skate on the rink? I'm confused if people have to take their own skates or not...
twilight... embarrassing.
Omg I also saw Breaking Dawn over the break and loved it! The twist definitely threw me for a loop, but I was so happy it ended the way it did. I have closure and don't feel like there needs to be another one :p btw, love your Christmas decorations! I really need to make a trip to Hobby Lobby soon!

Love the decor!!!!!!!!! :) Glad you had a grea Thanksgiving!
love that reindeer! I've never been to Hobby Lobby here, we don't have one in my town or in CT.
Your decorations are cute.
That is so funny you mentioned Southerners and potatoes b/c in fact, at my grandmas house, we almost NEVER have mashed potatoes. We have rice and gravy at most dinners and my IL MIL thinks that is crazy! I think it has to do with the abundance of rice in the South back in the day(grown in Charleston) and cost vs/ potatoes. You know my family was po'!
